Epcot

We went to Epcot today. There was a water taxi near our hotel and it took us across to Epcot.

The weather started of very lovely. 90 degrees and sunny, little did we know it would rain and thunder in the afternoon. We went to the Mission space ride which was literally out of this world. I was so nervous about going on it but I need not have worried. I wanted to go on again!

The ride simulated the shuttle take off and the shuddering and G force that takes place. It was brilliant.
We went to the first of the many countries which were set out starting with the English part.. Ironically we had just entered the rose and crown pub and ordered lunch when the heavens opened. Kieran is not good with thunder at the best of times and was frightened and had to wait before we could leave as he was panicking. It carried on raining for about an hour or more. In the end we managed to persuade him that his 2 cats and a shower proof cape would help him.
He called the cats Patch and Ti after our cats at home and this seemed to do the trick. Unfortunatley the weather brought an end to our day and we headed back to the hotel.
